large bird toys

Postby beaucefus93 » Mon Oct 10, 2016 8:57 am

:cockatoo: ive noticed alot of small bird toys are make of popsicle stick but ive never seen large bird toys made out of them. Is it dangerous for large birds such as cockatoos to chew on popsicle sticks?

It's not that they are dangerous, it's that, with their huge beaks, a popsicle stick is like a toothpick to us! They prefer larger pieces of wood that they can chew up into splinters not something that is already the size of one
