And more good news, Tiko lets my moms boyfriend touch her everywhere and was playing with his fingers in her beak and he was scratching her head its not fair lol I'm so jealous.Tiko always preferred men but I basically am too and all she does for me is step up and flys to me if shes in my bedroom but if she will do anything for my moms boyfriend then theres a good chance she will be able to let everybody handle her.

We also went to the pet store today and Mango came and for the first time in years they had a baby African grey,Galah and Amazon I think it was a orange fronted Amazon anyway I was dying to take that baby Galah home and my older sister wanted that baby grey which my mom would prefer lol.I know for sure though I wont be getting anymore birds until I have my own house and more time especially for a bigger Parrot.

I think that you said that Tiko is a Grey and if so then it would be very unusual for it to let any or everyone handle her/ him. Normally after they reach maturity they will bond to one person and not allow anyone else to touch them let alone handle them. This is a bird that if it loves and bonds with you that would gladly give its life in your defense.

She does let everyone handle her and she is bonded to my mom but she only accepts head scratches from her boyfriend who has only been here 2 weeks and doesn't even make an effort lol.Tiko is 8 years old and has never showed any signs of being a one person bird she allows everyone in the family to hold her.
