Was it this one? http://www.floridarambler.com/funky-flo ... -roosters/

Personally, I think that people make too much out of birds' poop. It's not 'dirty' poop like a dog's or a cat's - the only nasty poop comes from carnivores, herbivores poop is mostly water and, whatever is left dissolves easily with water so what is the big deal?

They need to adopt some out and hire an nest finder to prevent more. Some think their town is a dumping ground for unwanted chickens.

The article I linked states that they catch and rehome lots and lots of them every year.

Just seen on Good Day Tampa Bay, a Python Hunter had to save an alligator from a python that looked to be about 7 or 8 feet long. He held it up by the neck until it dropped the gator.

Pythons are invasive and Florida has hunters to take them out of the wild. I think they are loosing ground.

Yes, I do understand the need to get rid of them but I still feel sorry for the poor pythons... I mean, it's not their fault that people who got them on a whim decided to release them into the wild when they couldn't care for them. We SOOOO need to change our animal laws!

I watched a video on GDTB of a tortoise laying eggs in a flower bed. The homeowner built a cage around the nest to protect the eggs from preditors.

Awww, how wonderful! America seems to be getting crueler and crueler all the time but there are still some good people left...

GDTB had a video of a man saving a gator from a python that was wrapped around it.

Pythons are so bad here that once a year there is a python round up. It is hard to believe how many get rounded up but they still are here.

I don't remember when it was but there was a really bad hurricane here years ago. A snake breeders building were destroyed. I believe that is why we have so many pythons. They do try to rehome to the northern states where the snakes cannot survive the winter if they get out.

Hurricane Andrew in '90 or '91. That was really when the python problem got out of control.
