Buy her one! There is nothing I appreciate more than when my husband pays attention to a comment I might have made when looking at something and he gets it for me as a surprise. It took him 25 years to learn to do that so I've only been enjoying 'the fruits of my labors' (giving all those hints is hard work! ) only for the few last ones but it is hugely rewarding! For example, I had been complaining about the humidifier in the birdroom because it wasn't quite 'catching' when I first filled it up in the morning (I had to jiggle the water reservoir to make it start) so he got me a brand new one for Christmas! AND, he also got me this new square frying pan they offer on TV (Copper Chef) because I commented (several times, mind you! ) how much I liked it (no fumes to affect the birds, no stick no matter what you cook or burn on it, and you can also put it in the oven -some nice Tarte Tatin planned for this coming weekend!)
