Same with Kili. She doesn't hate it but doesn't exactly enjoy it either. Senegal Parrots come from a fairly dry region (woodland/savannah) so they don't have the same affinity for water as tropical rain forest parrots do. I only shower Kili about once a week. She does a lot of preening and takes care of herself. I think rain is more seasonal from those regions anyway so she doesn't seem to miss the water.

Neither Lucy or Jessie love showers, but they tolerate them. They do enjoy them more in the hotter weather when we're at the trailer. I would say I shower them 3 times a week when the windows are closed and the furnace is running. If I forget, I start to see dandruff on Lucy. In the summer, it depends on the weather - maybe daily if its hot in the middle of the summer.

Barely tolerates it. She much prefers taking baths in her water dish.

My tiel, Patrick, enjoys misting. I mist him about three times a week. I use a molt-ease mist and it makes him really soft, it has aloe in it.

Yoshi, my quaker, hates the water. If it's not for drinking, he'll have nothing to do with it. But I give him a mist once or twice a week anyway.

Skittles, my conure, will dunk himself in his bath dish every other day or so. So he takes care of himself. :)

Scooter gets excited whenever he hears running water! His favorite way to bathe is in the bathroom sink with a slow trickle that gradually fills the sink -- he plays under the running water and splashes in the growing pool. I've had him in the shower with me just once, and he seemed to like the humidity, but the water itself was a bit much for him. I got a nifty suction lock soap dish that works very well as a shower perch for him.

My Amazon loves the shower! He talks, whistles, and screams while flapping his wings and flipping upside down. I usually only shower him once or twice a week.
