'Alarm call' for birds on brink of extinction

Postby Pajarita » Tue Dec 12, 2017 11:11 am

It's not about parrots, thankfully, although they will be severely impacted by global warming and many species are in steep decline from deforestation and poaching. It's mostly about sea birds but, for any bird lover, it's extremely worrisome... I love seabirds, especially seagulls. There is always a flock flying around the parking lot of a small mall where the Home Depot we normally use is located and, whenever we go, I always make it a point to carry some cheap cat food in a baggie to feed them. I love to seem them swooping down and catching the morsels in the air!
