No. Unfortunately the breeder is all the way in Florida. I considered flying down to pick the bird up (either by airline or private plane) but no matter how I work it that would cost a fortune. Even if I buy a roundtrip ticket and go to personally pick up the bird (maybe $300 cheapest), I'd still have to pay $100+ for the bird. So what's the point of going if they are going to ship it as cargo with or without me and at the same price! So I'm just going to let the breeder ship it. At least she sends me pics and I talk to her nearly every week.
At least there is an end in sight when you're going to get your baby Cape this month or early June. Waiting is always the worst part. Its good to have a breeder that is willing to provide pics and updates.
