They found that barn swallows evolved to live with man - I wonder if this is happening to feral parrots...

Wild parrots are going to humans for food in many places and seem tame when there. The Barn Swallows may think the structures were made for them.

Yes, but going to humans for food is a learned skill not a product of evolution. What I would think it is [I am not an expert on these things], is the fact that feral lories in UK are eating from bird feeders.
