Two of the only three white giraffes in the world were killed by poachers and, to make matters worse, it was a female and its baby! And they did not even noticed for months! Now, I know these are poor countries, countries with really no resources at all to protect people much less animals so my question is: why isn't there a multinational fund that can be used to pay for security of the ultra rare animals? why aren't they designated some sort of United Nations Heritage something so they can get some sort of paid protection form the rich, sick guys that hunt them for trophies?
