Saw our local flock of feral parrots this morning!

They were in a tree near where I parked at work. The calls were distincly parrot, they were a bit too far away to see clearly, but from the size I think they were the red-crowned Amazon contingent. Here's an article on our local parrot pop.

I can just look at my girl though...next best thing! She's a red-crowned (AKA green-cheeked, Mexican Red-headed...)...

Oh wow! That would be amazing to see! I used to have a flock of cockatoos living pretty much outside my apartment. The novelty started wearing off at the regular wake-up call at 7am, but it was still pretty awesome You should see if you can get some pictures of your parrot flock! There's nothing quite like wild birds
