Dumbest questions people ask about your parrot?

I didn't know that.

All I know is Amazons are in Belize and Cockatiels are in Australia. I can't identify many parrots. To me there are many very similar.

I agree it is normal, in fact it is good that they are showing an interest in parrots and that they want to learn more about them

I had no problem with her asking the question, but to me it was like asking where the Canadian goose is from.

Well we don't know the countries of Africa well. I didn't even know that Senegal was a country or existed. That's probably the woman. Asking what bird it was was reasonable.

I knew Senegal existed, but I never really connected it to the bird until I read this. Quite amazing how much we know but our conscious doesn't know.
