I guess I will come out of the lurking. I find posting on forums in general, can be intimidating to me so I often find myself lurking more than posting. I really love reading all the information on here and I admit I only really had the courage to introduce myself. I've had many questions I wanted to ask relating to my parrot but often find myself coming up with the answer somewhere on here(or on my own) so I haven't bothered to post about it much. However I do need a lot of guidance and so I am just re-reading a lot of the posts to have it sink in to my mind and understand it, as well as watching a lot of the videos others post.

It is just my anxiety mostly, nothing to do with anything else. I am just a slow and very visual type of learner . Plus if my name didn't give it away, I have been trying to turn my situation around, hence my username. ;) This forum is a great place for Poicephalus owners, couldn't find many other places for information on them in regards to taming and training them.

Don'tbe shy. It's not like we will tease you for asking questions. Just don'task obviously dumb questions like o i don't know, Why do people join and not post at all? . I will tell you, I am normally shy and hesitante around people, but online you can take your time to think about what you will type and that can reasure you. ;)

Excellent, because you were thisclose to getting banned! :D

All joking aside, I can understand being wary of posting a topic that has been covered before. But from personal experience... When in doubt, ask! :) Aaand...don't delete posts because it will come back to haunt you.
