Destructo Birdie

Postby Azure Hanyo » Sat Jul 17, 2010 11:12 am

...My BHC Galileo just tore a few keys off of my keyboard. Bahahaha! That's what I get for not having a chew-friendly toy nearby while we were at the computer hanging out. What kinds of things have your feathered friends ruined and or "altered"?

Jake has decided to go into the fashion industry. He loves altering my clothes. Have too many buttons? not a problem for Jake. Don't like beading? Jake is your bird, he'll get rid of that for you. He is also expert at adding buttonholes.

Scooter prefers my earlobes unadorned so I have to very careful with earrings! However, he is most likely to chew up reading material left lying around where he can get at it. The more you'd rather he DIDN'T chew that particular book, magazine or printout, the more likely it is he will decide to do so!

Oh, I forgot, he absolutely ADORES the rubber scroll wheel on my mouse. Its pretty ragged, but fortnately does still work. It was a pricey wireless mouse I got so he wouldn't chew on the wire. Silly me!

Joey (Red-bellied) is the worst in this matter - anything and everything can become a toy to him. He particularly likes keyboards, computer mice and any type of cable. We have to keep an ever watchful eye on him and he generally stays out of trouble when I watch him - when it's my boyfriend's turn to pay attention, that's when Joey generally gets a bite or two on something he shouldn't (which most of the time is something which belongs to my boyfriend..)
