Taking a Break

Postby Michael » Fri Jul 23, 2010 11:55 pm

I'm taking a break from parrots, but especially online parrot stuff. I'm just mentally exhausted after a busy month of training Truman on a regular basis, posting videos/blogs daily, interacting on forum, etc. Also been working hard to get parrot training perches and website ready for service. But all of the above was in my happily managed world of parrot stuff. The one I wasn't ready for is my 20 parrot tricks going viral and then loads of people stealing it. I'm pretty down about how many people copied the video and written stupid things about it.

So I'm just taking off this weekend. Quite literally actually. I'm just going to do a lot of glider flying tomorrow. I have to go to a family event Sunday so I'm thinking of bringing my parrots along with me. But otherwise I don't think I'll be doing much trick training or doing online stuff though. I'm just going to take a break from it all for a bit.

If you're bored you can check out some of my other kind of flying videos cause that's what I'll be doing:

Have a nice weekend! Relax!

Sorry about your video issues...not sure what you can do about that.

Be careful, no matter what you're doing...to NOT burn out. It's nicer to hang in there for the long run instead of going whole hog for only a short while...
