Halloween

Postby Kathleen » Wed Oct 28, 2009 5:15 pm

For those of you from countries where Halloween is celebrated, are you going to wear a costume? What will you be? Any other plans for Halloween?

Some bird inspired costumes:

Cute!
I'm just going to wear my giraffe ears since I have to work.
I might bring Noodle in to visit though. Everyone enjoys having Noodle visit. :senegal:

I think I'm going to dress up like a Christmas tree, and wrap lights and garland around me. I did this last year, and got quite a few stares when I plugged the lights in. I couldn't move around much though when lit up...

I wonder if they make that macaw costume in an adult size? :D

You should get those strands that are battery powered. I bet they're out already at craft stores.

I'm dressed as a doctor today. Our whole office has dressed up! I wanted to be a pirate and bring Mojo but I have a long commute and wouldn't be able to take him home if he started being a pest.

An Amazon would get awfully loud in an office  :amazon:

I don't really celebrate Halloween. Something about having been forced to dress up at school when I was young put me off it. The free candy was nice, but I stopped trick or treating fairly early on, if I compare to some friends.

In any case, very few people dressed up at my office Halloween party so I didn't feel out of place with no costume.

Hope everyone who celebrated Halloween this year had a good time.

It rained a little bit here so that might have spoiled some of the fun for some, but at least the rain held out most of the day. :swaying:

No wonder you were too busy to post on our forum! LOL

Nice job. Did you think of making a bigger hole in pumpkin and having your parrot peaking out from inside! :senegal:

It actually crossed my mind, but I'm sure most of them would have been freaked out by that.

Piper was the last to pose..after she saw every other bird do it. She was a bit scared of the big mean pumpkin!
