I was in Czechoslovakia- at that time it was one country and I was in Hungary too: first had a good bear and Hungary good goulash) I still make pierogi every year on Christmas ;)

My family is Czech and Hungarian, so that's why we ate all of those. I need to learn how to make pierogies because there's no where to get them when I move to California.

This now has me wondering if there's higher percentage of parrot ownership in certain ethnicities. I know in some areas of the world, birds are stolen from the nest and taught to hunt for the tribal populations. It happens often in Khazakstan with the theft of golden eagles.

I know this is an old thread. I found it researching a parrot.

I am 2nd generation Italian on my mothers side. My father always called himself an American Mutt because his family had been in country for so many generations that he had an English name, some American Indian and everything else in between.

My mother has always been very open minded about food and introduce all nationalities. I picked up a taste for Asian and Mexican food while in the Air Force. Christmas is still lasagna and meatballs.

born and raised in Washington, U.S.A, except for the six months when we lived in New Zealend. but i would rather live in the U.K, or maybe Greece since i love their mythology.

go "neither's"!
If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands.
