Bahahahahahahaha... Bugs. Hey pchela, you could give Bughenhagen some little birdie sunglasses and a bright neon-green flightsuit and he would REALLY be in character...

I'm really leaning towards Arthur unless I find something brilliant in the next few days. Arthur Dent did learn how to fly by the end of the series so aside from the personality fitting, there's another reason to go with the name.

I think I'll avoid Heywood after remembering the Heywood Jablome gag.

Before I reached the names you already had in mind, the name Forrest popped into my mind. As in Forrest Gump.
But Arthur sounds really cure too ;) You can even refer to Arthur from Harry Potter. The goofy Weasley dad who has an 'unnatural' interest in anything muggle.

Ah, lots of possibilities from Potter! Aside from Arthur, there's Ron, Hagrid, Neville (Longbottom) and when I was interested in a Jardine, I wanted to call him Buckbeak.

I've never been a fan of the name Arthur...it's one of those names where I haven't liked anyone with the name...or they've been really weird or goofy... :?

How about Uther (as in King Uther)...close, but a little different...
