doh! I painted my nails....

Postby Rrrma » Sun Aug 29, 2010 1:14 pm

I hardly ever paint my nails, maybe once a year, if that. And every time I do it, since it has been soooooo long, I forget it freaks the birds out lol!

I painted them last night when I got bored while watching a movie. This morning I went to weigh and feed everyone and they just kind of stared at me like I'd grown another head. After a little finger play they realized I must have just changed colors :P

Anyone else get similar reactions when they adust their appearance?

It's sometimes hard to tell what they don't like. I've been growing out my hair again, and it's just long enough to pull into a small pony-tail. Pekoe (Pionus) hasn't been to happy with me...and I couldn't figure out why. Today my hair was loose and he was back to 'normal' so I'm wondering if that's what's been bothering him.

None of the others seem to care how I wear my hair...

My tiels get moody if I wear the wrong sunglasses. I wear glasses/contacts, which they don't mind, but when we go outside I have to choose the ones that are yellow tinted, and not the regular black tinted ones because they freak otherwise. They like to cuddle next to the yellow tinted sunglasses, though.
