Somehow I get the feeling that these people would even get rid of their hamsters... I find it deeply sad that someone can take a living being into their lives, care for it, but then think of it as disposable. :( You just don't get rid of an animal because you're tired of it!

They should've gotten one of those fake hamsters, the ones that were like THE TOY to have last christmas (can't remember what they were called)

I could see the ad now: Up for adoption a sweet hamster. Doesn't eat, doesn't poop, and is quiet as long as you take out the batteries. We really love him but just don't have the time it deserves. $200 rehoming fee :lol:

They are called the Zhu Zhu Hamsters I think.... To be honest I bet there is a community of hamster lovers out there as dedicated to their little guys as we are. I wouldn't be surprised . :lol:
