Nothing but 50's rock and roll for Jimmy the Hood. I'm trying to fashion a black leather jacket...little black shiny head. Ya.

Kidding. Jimmy rocks to any good backbeat (:

idlepirate wrote:Has anyone heard of tried this cd "while you were gone- songs for birds" something like that. Supposed to play it while you're out and the parrots love it. I tried listening to the samples but I thought it was a bit dull. Jungle sounds, piano and some weird lady telling stories inbetween

I've heard bits of it, and it does sound dull!

Discovered today that Isis also loves a bit of Goldfrapp too ;)

We've also just bought her one of the RSPB "Garden birds' CD or xmas!

Jodi LOVES music! She generally likes pop, stuff you hear on the radio, but with upbeat, poppy songs she get's pretty loud and vocal! When we aren't home we leave either the radio or TV on for her, I like to think it gives her some stimulation if we aren't there to give it to her!

If your into harder rock music then you will like this video. It is a bird singing let the bodies hit the floor by disturbed. It took me a couple of watches just to believe it.

Oh my goodness! Also /nitpicking. That song's by a band called Drowning Pool. Sorry, sorry - I couldn't resist.

Barney loves Celtic Frost. I've played a bunch of different styles for him (I'm not a fan of pop music but I played some for him to see if he likes it), but he seems to love the heavier styles of music. He tries to sing along if I'm playing guitar which is hilarious - Celtic Frost are his current favourite, followed by Alice in Chains then old school Metallica (only one or two songs though).

He gets very very chatty when I play music - the chattier he gets gives me a good indication of whether he likes it or not, since he only chatters away when he's happy/content.

Einstein usually reacts to music when he see's me react to it. The song "Dog Days are Over", whenever I play it I feel the need to start dancing, and Einstein sees me start dancing, so he starts to get excited. Then before you know it, we're both whistling and jumping around the room :P

I love florence and the machine :P I keep hearing the dog days are over on the radio. Next time it's on I'll have to turn it up, dance and see if rainbow thinks I'm crazy or not...

Mojo doesn't seem to care what I have on, unless I'm singing along with it. It really doesn't matter what I'm singing, he always gets excited. I just hope that he doesn't repeat my off-key singing! I'll have to try opera tomorrow, I don't listen to it so I've never played it for him.

Pele loves anything with a beat. I can simply say 'boom boom boom' and she starts screeching, bobbing her head, and dancing!
