Barney loves Celtic Frost. I've played a bunch of different styles for him (I'm not a fan of pop music but I played some for him to see if he likes it), but he seems to love the heavier styles of music. He tries to sing along if I'm playing guitar which is hilarious - Celtic Frost are his current favourite, followed by Alice in Chains then old school Metallica (only one or two songs though).

He gets very very chatty when I play music - the chattier he gets gives me a good indication of whether he likes it or not, since he only chatters away when he's happy/content.[/quote]

Einstein usually reacts to music when he see's me react to it. The song "Dog Days are Over", whenever I play it I feel the need to start dancing, and Einstein sees me start dancing, so he starts to get excited. Then before you know it, we're both whistling and jumping around the room

Yep XD He bobs his head up and down and chatters away like a maniac. The only other times he gets that happy is a: when he's eating, b: when he's eating (yes my bird's a guts >.>), when I'm talking to him/he wants out, or if he's getting ready to wage war against one of his toys.

That's so silly Which one of you two is the better dancer? Barney's got me beat in that department. I'm not particularly coordinated, so to speak. He isn't either to be honest, but when he falls (trying to do a somersault on his perch, overbalancing on my desk... I could go on) he can fly to preserve a little dignity, whereas I cannot.

Of course, if im (awkwardly I'll admit) grooving to anything both my fids get excited----but usually anything really harsh like metal gets them agitated and LOUD.
For a nice sort of calm hang out mode they like anything soft and...tribal? for lack of a better word. For fun Jacko really likes some of the powwow music---though again, he is a much better dancer because at least when he goofs up his dancing he looks cute

I don't know whether their infernal screeching and flying around like hawks on ecstasy means they like it or hate it but Drake's Forever really gets a reaction out of them (I hate that song), but only the remix version (which i hate even more). Oh and this Korean bands songs, they're called Big Bang, and my sister leaves it on for them in the hope that they'll choose to imitate their songs (i hate big bang with a cruel, cold vengence).

But I do know that Jake likes to listen and watch the Teli Tubbies , & Sesame Street (ARGH ) Also my Rotty loves the Telli Tubbies too!lol I sometimes watch Talk shows and Jake repeats stuff from that.
