I'm getting a portrait of Einstein

Postby zazanomore » Wed Dec 22, 2010 5:08 pm

I was just browsing the site www.etsy.com when I stumbled upon a cute little water color of a cockatiel: http://www.etsy.com/listing/57014754/wa ... corn-percy

Isn't it sweet? So, I emailed the artist, asking if she could possibly do a painting of my Einstein, and she agreed!

Only 39.99$ Plus 6$ shipping.

I love water color paintings, and I'll be sure to post pictures of the completed work when it's done!

Also, here's some more bird pictures by the artist:

They kind of remind me of Beatrix Potter's paintings. :)

Those are nice! I'm not usually impressed with custom-portrait stuff, but that's really nice work!

This artist's work is awesome! Very impressed and considering commissioning one of the feathered kids!

Very nice ! I think I'll have one of each of my dogs, if she does them, and one of my Ekkie, in a while.

Dog portraits go for 115$ plus tax. But hey, that's still good.

Why are dogs more expensive ? Sounds weird to me. If the painting is the same size, I don't see the reason for it. At that price, I would think about it twice for the dogs.
