Hi. My name is karyn. I have a peaced faced lovebird named peetree. I think hes dying because for about 2 weeks hes been flying into things,his left foot seemed paralyzed. Now he wont really respond. Hes about 20 years old. Right now hes laying confortable on me til the lord says its time for him to go. : (

Twenty years is quite a long lifespan for a lovebird and you might be right that he is dying, but have you had him in to see an avian vet? Please keep us informed as we would like to be of help if we can. It is very difficult to lose a friend that one has lived with and loved for such a long time, please keep us up to date on this and feel free to talk to us about the time that you have had to share with him, we are here for both of you.
