Hey Cap'n, I think our cape has at leas that many words, probably that many phrases, although he also has a number of mimic sounds.

I didn't mean to imply that amazons are all that special it's just the birds i'm familiar with, and i think it's great that other people are listening/communicating with their fids.Just wish i could speak parrot. :D

Of course they are special! They just aren't the only good talkers. I don't know if it is speaking parrot, but both our birds make this clicking sound that seems to mean "I like you" so we've been doing it back to them.
