Myrtle

Postby liz » Sun Mar 20, 2011 7:19 pm

Myrtle is doing very well. She has learned to step up though she doesn't seem to want to. She does like to hitch rides on my shoulder. This morning she greeted me with "Hey Baby".

She started saying every word she knew and singing "La La La" in different arrangements at 2 pm today. She finally got tired at 7 pm.

Right now she is just preaning me and cuddling up.

Update on Myrtle

Postby liz » Wed Mar 23, 2011 8:19 pm

She can fly about 3 yards then do a controlled crash. Rambo just does a controlled crash.
Today she did then walked over to climb up my pants leg. She is so sweet, now I can even put my hands around her whole body and give her cuddles and kisses (she gives French kisses - I am so glad she does not slobber.

She hitch hiked today for about two hours. I put her back to eat but when she had enough she flapped and jumped on my shoulder for another ride. I don't know if she is afraid of storms but we are having a whopper right now.

She and Rambo are in different rooms but niether cage is closed. When she hears him talk she calls to him but he won't answer. I did get them both to take a ride at the same time.

Right now :blinking: Myrtle is on top of the drapes in the living room. :amazon: Rambo was with Rachel and she felt left out. She can fly from room to room but rarely leaves the security of the sunroom.

:amazon: Rambo acts like a 6 year old big brother to his two year old sister. He takes her toys, raids her cage and bullys her. One morning (while my camera was still packed) I saw the two of them eating from the same bowl on their patteo just on opposite sides.

Myrtle has increased her vocabulary and understands the words she says. She is no where near Rambo's level but coming up fast. She makes herself know even if it is Ma Comere.

:amazon2: Myrtle is expanding her territory. She no longer stays in the sunroom but will do lapps through the dinning room, kitchen and living room. She has even flown down the hall to my bedroom when I had to stay in bed.

We have a dog named Ramey who is a runner. Everyone who comes here knows to watch the floor while coming through the front door. I guess I am going to have to put a sign on the front door "watch for flying Myrtle".

The icon :amazon: looks like Rambo walking through the house. I need one of a BF in flight.

Myrtle has found a new way of entertaining herself. She started with me and buzzes me as I walk through the house. With her new found fun she isn't affraid of stangers and even buzzes Mom's physical tharapists.

I have been taking more pictures of them. Being technology impaired I can't get them on and photobucket even eludes me. I would like to send them b email. I know how to do that.

Ieven have a picture of Myrtle sleeping in a paper bag.
