Cockatoos are one of my favorite birds. She's absolutely beautiful and you can't even tell she used to pluck!

Also, where'd you get that toy in the last video? My birds love shredder balls and would probably go nuts with that toy.

No problem. And I think it's great that you take her outside in a harness!

I actually got it at My Safe Bird Store (mysafebirdstore.com). It is my favorite toy ever, and all of my birds love love love it!

Thanks for the link. My budgies can go through those shredder balls in the matter of an hour. I bought them their first pack of six a couple of weeks ago and they went through the first two in about twenty minutes. I'll definitely have to buy one of these for them to destroy.

With a cockatoo, you must go through those pretty fast. I can't imagine the balls would stand up well to her beak.

Actually, she has had it for more than a month and is very gentle with it. Monty, my ekkie foster, ripped through it in about a week. I can stuff it with nuts and she'll find one when she feels like a treat. It's a great intro foraging toy.

It's funny to hear about a Goffins being more gentle with those things than a pair of budgies is!
