Start making homemade toys. That will keep you busy.

Here's a great source for ideas:

Be careful not to sexually stimulate the bird (male or female) and you won't have to really worry about egg laying (female). I've had a lot of female parrots that never laid eggs, including a pet jenday that didn't lay eggs for 12 years until I got her a mate and set her up for breeding.

He is too cute! Baby faces are precious.

Watch out for your jewelry! My GCC loves to gnaw on my bracelet and ring.

That is a nice name you gave him.

Ohhhh, Great ideas! I especially like Loki. In Native American lore, Loki is a "trickster" god. That sounds like a conure to me!

EDIT:
Oops! I just read all the way through the thread and saw that you'd already decided on a name. Sparx is a way cute name, and totally fitting your darling little baby! I wish I could tell you that the time will fly by, but it wont. ;) It'll be totally worth the wait though. I brought my Greencheek Conure, JJ, home a week ago after waiting almost five weeks. We thought we were ready, but we didn't know what ready was!

How about Soleil? It's pronounced Soul-lay. It means sun in french.

Zaza, I can't believe you said that ! I'm french, and Soleil was the first thing that came to my mind...

You stole my name :D
