young greencheek regergetating

Postby S.levy » Fri Apr 15, 2011 9:38 pm

Hello everyone,

I have a baby green cheeked conure, whom i've had for about a month.
she is about 4 months old, and i have noticed that lately, she is doing a motion that looks like she is regergetating?
i have had lovebirds before, and they only did to each other during their mating season,
my conure is really young, do conures behave the same way? or could this just be a bonding thing?

thanks

My GCC makes that motion when I pet him and he's really enjoying it. He does it if he's content and enjoying himself.

As far as I know, it's normal and there's nothing to worry about.
