Traveling Long Distances with Your Bird

Postby patdbunny » Wed Apr 20, 2011 11:55 am

I've RV'd for weeks at a time with all my pet birds. It's doable. Just get your bird used to car rides. I find fruit smoothies are great to get fluids and nutrition into them during our adventures. I like to give them smoothies so I can observe how they're behaving, eating and drinking since it is harder to monitor "normal" behavior when you're on the road.
