Aside from toucans, cockatoos are some of my favorite birds. Did they just turn up wild like that or are they pets?

No they just turn up wild, they hear the little birds and come down to check it out. I have some Galahs that come down too, check them out.

Wow, I'd love to live in a place where cockatoos just come to visit like that. Here, the most exotic thing we get is the occasional hawk migrating through.
