Jardine's... I'm still emotionally traumatized over it.

the worst bite I got from my cockatiel was a bruise on top of my hand because I had to remove her from her self-made nest spot when she was in full mommy mode.
my gcc did get me to bleed the first week or two I had her but she never goes that far anymore. Besides that I'm pretty much bite free apart from a couple larger conures I handled at a bird store. They weren't quite tame and chewed up my hand pretty well but even though it broke the skin it didn't actually hurt all that much.

 I have to ask.. If it broke your finger the first time, weren't you scared to death of it the second time? I think if something broke my finger, I'd be staying far, far, faaar away from it for the rest of my life.

Maybe it broke a finger, then proceeded to break another one beside it.

You can't always afford to be afraid of an animal that hurt you... but I agree two broken fingers seems to be the "winner" here. I'm actually surprised how few really severe injuries y'all have reported.

Scotty hasn't bitten me... yet... so my worst so far was the bite Scooter gave to my upper lip. That really smarts, I have to tell you! Cautionary note: don't let your spouse convince you the bird has forgiven you if you aren't sure the bird has forgiven you. Further don't attempt to "kiss" said bird under those circumstances. And if you are the spouse, under no circumstances proceed to laugh.

vinnie was at the pet store i worked at and quite often i was there by my self and vinnie hated females and didn't agree with going back in her cage at the end of the day. also she thought i was stealing her boyfriend, ..which i kinda did...my first lorikeet was from the petstore and vinnie took a liking to it..
