The fox who longed for grapes, beholds with pain
The tempting clusters were too high to gain;
Grieved in his heart he forced a careless smile,
And cried, "They're sharp and hardly worth my while."

You, sir, are an ass. A wonderful bird handler, but an ass. I hope one day you learn how to socialize with people as well as you do our avian companions.

You are an ass. There is nothing more un-natural then how you treat your parrots. The diet you have them on, the tricks you have them perform are FAR more un-natural then having a parrot's wings clipped.

It is people like you that lead to improperly cared for parrots by setting up unrealistic standards. New people come on this site and catch wind of the bullshit you unload and THIS is why parrots end up in the wrong hands.

As bird lovers and owners we are obligated to give OBJECTIVE advice and not push personal agendas. No one is the perfect owner, all we can do is our best and hope we find people along the way to share with.

P.S. go get laid or something. You need it buddy.

If somebody would invite me to his home(which is this forum open to register) and then start to disrespect me, call me names only because I have a gods to have a different opinion, I simply leave this home.

Michael being owner of this forum should apologize all those people he offended. Instead? You all know what I personally think- he is glad that experienced people are walking away, because he wants to shy always. You guys prove him so many times he's wrong- publicly in his forum. So this is his immature and only one possible revenge, he is capable of :lol:

Maybe my English is no good and my birds are worth nothing, because viewtopic.php?f=7&t=5362&start=40#p35357, but at least I have still my honor. I respect everybody opinion in topic about food and dogs&cats/birds, but I don't want to be a part of this forum no more. When somebody constantly crosses the line, the only right way is to close the door.

Roz, Capt, I hope you link me guys normal forum with grown up Administrator, who doesn't judge and offend people that easy. Please contact me through my website.

I've been a part of this forum quite actively for a while now. I've got to say that I really enjoy being a part of a community of fellow bird owners who are so passionate about their pets.

I can understand why everyone is so upset. I did not post in said topic, but I read it through, post by post. The argument was heated on both ends. Michael, I think it would be smart for you to apologize. As the forum owner, you hold a certain amount of responsibility. For the most part, we respect you and the advice you have to give. But we lose respect when you openly and blatantly but down other owners, just because they disagree with your views. (I read her posts, and yes, she did have viable arguments in the topic, as did you).

I will not be leaving the forum. It's my favorite little piece of the web. However, this whole ordeal has left a sour taste in my mouth.

And here I thought it was only I who thought Michael was such an ass.

Quite seriously Michael, grow up and learn how to treat people in a respectful manner or you have Buckley's chance of this forum continuing. You're driving people away.
