I have no idea what the band LadyHawke is but the Matthew Broderick (drool) movie is awesome! (I love Navarre's horse. I'm more than a little obsessed with equines.. *more drool*)

OMG- Navarres horse is the coolest horse EVER! I love the way he prances! The movie was a favorite of mine growing up - but the music is awful if you go back and watch it now! I wish they would redo the soundtrack with an orchestra...

Rupert is for Rupert Giles from Buffy and Nicodemus is from The Secret of Nimh. (Nicodemus actually came to me already named Nicholas so... it's a stretch... usually just call him Nicky)

OMG. I love this forum. Buffy is my number one favorite show OF ALL TIME. I have the Chosen collection and I watch the series about twice a year. No joke. What is your favorite episode? =) Mine is OMWF. *Sigh* Now I have to go watch Buffy. (Are you team Spuffy or Bangel? SPUFFY ALL THE WAY.)

Okay now I've let go that I'm more of a nerd than I claim to be.

And YES, just thinking about the music makes me cringe but the Friesian is my favorite breed of all time. So beautiful. They're gaited which is what the prancing is. It's terribly uncomfortable to ride gaited horses but it looks cool! lol.

Haha! A fellow geek! OMWF of course and Hush of course and - there are so many good ones... maybe... for emotional punch The Body and The Gift... I could go on and on so I'll stop. And you know, sometimes I'm team Spuffy and sometimes I'm team Bangel. Depends on the episode or my mood but - I personally would go for Spike. I also have The Chosen Collection and watch it maybe once a year. Don't tell anyone.

haha, no buffy and riley fans out there? (I'm team spuffy). but how can you watch The Body?? it killed me to just watch it once. And you can never go wrong with the OMWF or hush, so fantastic. LOVE love love firefly, but buffy is the best! have you guys seen dr. horrible's sing-along blog?

Hey Pchela, I second the Firefly shout out. Browncoats forever! I loved that show (have it and Serenity on DVD), wish it was still on. By the way Mal (Nathan Fillion) is an Edmonton boy. Saw him regularly for quite a while before he went to Hollywood. He used to be good friends with my little brother.
