I don't believe in buying or selling any "being".
I rehomed two kids in my lifetime. One was a rescued chihuahua who was not happy being part of my gang. I found her a home with a father and son who treet her like the princess. She gets excited when she sees me but only because she knows that I put her in a good place. I rescued and rehomed a 4 foot Iguana. When I got him he was black. One day with me and he turned green. My neighbor took him for a few days while I was in the hospital and he turned gold. That is when I knew that he wanted more than I could give him. I found him a family with kids. He was treated like the family dog. He even went out to play when the kids did and came back in the house when the kids did. He was gold all the time.
I did right by those little ones.
I found a colony of 16 skinny ferel cats that no one was taking care of because they were wild. I fed them, tamed them and arranged for the Humane Society to fix them and give them shots. I found homes for each one of them.
My sister breeds English Bull dogs. I hate it and she knows it. If their were no breeders the animal shelters would be empty. There would be no unwanted animals because people would rescue or rehome. There would be no neglected or mistreated parrots. I have heard horror stories of parrots being closed in a room by themselves for years because they made too much noice.
That is my story and I am sticking to it.
