What's Your Dream Parrot?

Postby Skip » Sun Sep 04, 2011 5:12 pm

Hi,
Everybody has a dream parrot. A parrot that they would love to have weather it's a budgie or macaw. I'm still trying to figure out mine. Just simply post a reply saying what your dream parrot is! It can be more than one. Also, post why you want it to be your dream parrot!

I have my dream parrots.

I don't yurn for any animal of any kind. They just seem to come into my life. I searched for :amazon2: Myrtle, or I should say another parrot the same size as :amazon: Rambo.

Myrtle and I both got lucky when I found her. I went after her sight unseen not knowing exactly what she was going to be when I got there.

Quaker - love the stories I have read about the personalities and antics (only issue may be cage aggression, but that can be manged if doen properly)
Rainbow Lorikeet - I think the colours of this bird are out of this world, just stunning (only issue, if you can call it that, is the poop can land anywhere, and I mean anywhere. probably if I got one, this would be a bird I would try and train to go toilet in one area)

Both a just dreams at the moment but never say never LOL

Skip, you didnt say what your dream parrot/s were.
Budgies - Harry and Billy
Cinn GCC - Bailey
Blue Quaker - Malakai (Kai)
Cockatiel - Rhyly

I would love to have a Senegal. They seem so clever and they are not much bigger then my cockatiel.

I figures out mine today!

Sulpher Crested Cockatoo - I would love to own a cockatoo. They're sweet and loving If tame properly. They're smart and intelligent for trick training. But the best part is that some are cuddly.

they rock

My ultimate dream parrot is an umbrella cockatoo, but after reading mytoos.com I'm too scared to get one. I also LOVE hawk-headed parrots, they are beautiful! Also on my "want" list is an african grey and a blue/gold macaw. Maybe someday I will have worked myself up to an entire flock, lol. But for now I have my hands full with my quaker and sun conure :-)
