I would also love an african grey. I love watching videos of them and their intelligence really intrigues me.

Nice choice! I wanted an African Grey but I changed to a Cockatiel or a Hahn's Macaw. They are awesome! They are macaws and cockatoos but in a suitible package! :)

KiwiMango wrote:My ultimate dream parrot is an umbrella cockatoo, but after reading mytoos.com I'm too scared to get one. I also LOVE hawk-headed parrots, they are beautiful! Also on my "want" list is an african grey and a blue/gold macaw. Maybe someday I will have worked myself up to an entire flock, lol. But for now I have my hands full with my quaker and sun conure :-)

I love your combination. I have watched them on YouTube and they seem so energetic and playful.

I have wanted a large, light, red tailed grey since I was 9 years old. My favorite grey breeder now has a breeding pair that is likely to produce what I was been dreaming of. So my dream bird will be coming to me in the next few years

I also love some of the smaller amazon species.

I love my
:sun: Stanley
&
:gcc: Ollie
But I would like to have a b&g macaw or if cage size and time were not issues, I would love a Hyacinth macaw, they are so beautiful. My wife is very interested right now in getting a B&G as a rehome, so I may have one sooner than I think.

Also, suns are not too loud, just when they holler, you gotta go love on 'em, thats all they want is attention. Mine has taken to hollering while I am training the green cheek, and I am pretty sure it is just jealousy....they are worse than kids.
Stanley the Sun Conure :sun:
Ollie the Green Cheek Conure :gcc:
Stan and Ollie the great comedy duo, always making me chuckle!!
