Thanks for the feedback guys :)

I put nova in her crate and let her sniff him through the bars. She really wanted to give him kisses, but otherwise didn't move or make noise. She just kinda froze and looked at him.
It didn't seem to curb any of the whining or her interest in him. Any other suggestions?
I may try again with my boyfriend holding him and me loving on her.

Well we just tried my second idea and it didn't work so well. We were able to keep them apart just fine, but now nova is more excited than before.... help?

Sorry I gave bad advice. It has worked for me.

My next step would be to get my dog a new squeaky toy to distract him.

It wasn't bad advice Liz, my dog is just weird. Lol.
A new toy will probably work pretty good actually, especially since that's what she thinks echo is. Maybe one of those Kong things, Nova loves food. Haha

Yea, I'm trying to. It works for a few minutes till echo makes a noise.
She should get used to him eventually.
