Also, never buy any of the parrot food which is you scoop out and put it into a bag. It can get insects on it and will be bad for your parrot. Hope you have a good time!

Now I'm ready for my angry rant... was too upset when I got home.

Where the H*** were their so-called vets??? I saw a bird with blood all over its face... it was basicly running down its beak... Yes the cages were clean but cant they have a minimum on cage SIZE??? How can you put 9 lovebirds in a 15cm by 30 cm cage??? There were 2 Rosellas in a cage so tiny they couldnt even turn around, out of frustration they started attacking eachother and NO ONE CARED! There were more birds with obvious injuries, dried blood and skinny...

I know its probably my imagionation but some birds seemed to look at me crying for help. I am really upset... AM NOT LIKING DENMARK AT THE MOMENT!!!

The fair was in a big sports arena... some birds escaped while people were trying to grab them... what are these poor birds going to do??? Probably die a very slow death. There were kids just pointing out birds saying 'I want that one and that one and that one....' The parents were then going to buy food and people had to explain that what they were about to buy wasnt food but supplements.... how can anyone in their right mind sell these people birds????

Most of these birds were absolutly terrified.... These was one cage with three Indian Ringnecks sitting beside eachother... the middle was so scared because it was obviously being attacked by the other two... it was soo scared and had obvious injuries. It was too scared to move and hardly dared to open its eyes cos the other two kept on going for its head.

I spend most of my time at a guiny pig stand and one stand with spiders... These were show animals and they WERE TAKEN CARE OF!!!! Just petting the giuny pigs made me feel better, the lady could see I was upset. She probably was too... they were invited there to promote some other animals. None of these birds were 'pets'.

How can they promote an event like this??? How can say they have vets there when they dont?? bAnd someone who apparently couldnt get in with his birds just set up stand in the parking lot!! A dusty gravel parking lot with cars racing by... I was disgusted and almost cried on my way home.

There was only one stand that seemed to care for its bird so I bought toys from them. There birds seemed to be in good shape and their cages were nice.

Never EVER going to a bird fair again.

That's too bad. I've never seen anything even close to what your'e describing, here. Perhaps a move to California is warranted.
