I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and remembered the reason for the season.
Mine was pure chaos but I survived. I did not plan on having company but the whole family showed up a dinner time. I used to make lasagna and meatballs when I planned on 32 guests. It was a meal that is time consuming but could be made ahead of time. I did make meatballs but opted for ravioli this time. It is a good thing I always cook way more than I need. My mother says I cook like I'm planning for an army.
This morning I woke up with a headach so after coffee I went back to bed. That is so unusual that the critters decided to console me. There were 4 dogs and 2 cats in my bed when Myrtle came. She thinks my morning coffee time is her time so she joined the pack.
I managed to stay down for half an hour before so much love made me get up. I still have my headach but we are back to morning routine.
I hope you all have a good morning after so you can prepare for New Years.
