Think parrots

Postby marie83 » Thu Apr 12, 2012 6:13 am

I know it's a while off yet but are any UK-ers going to this show, or even anyone traveling to it from another country?
I've been to a few shows before and don't generally like them cuz they seem to be full of dodgy looking breeders trying to get rid of birds that are clearly severely distressed but I'm hoping this event will be better as parrots magazine are running it. I'm hoping to get to see some of the lectures/talks they are holding too to see if I can pick up some new information. On the whole I'm looking forward to it though I'm a bit skeptical.

I'm going to this show. It will be my first parrot show and hopefully it will be very good and professional since parrot mag is running it. The workshops should be good, I'm hoping to go to the diet and nutrition one and the behaviour training one.

I was hoping to go to all of them but I figured that won't leave me too much time to see everything else lol. I may just book two and then see if I can get in the other ones if I get time. Typical that the ones I really want to go to are the first three..... If its anything like the other shows I've been to everyone starts packing away in the early afternoon.
