i saw in your last post that the bird attacks from you partners arm the bird may think your partner belongs to him so the neutral territory could include your partner. my 
thinks my boyfriend belongs to her so whenever our son gets near him when she's around she tries to attack him but when i have her my son can pet her with no problems.she's getting better though with time.
