I'll be curious to follow this thread.

At the moment, I'm considering the possibility of re-homing a Meyer's parrot. The talks are still early and it would be October at the earliest that I would take her because I'll wait until the trailer closes to ensure I can do a proper quarantine at home.

I'm not so concerned about Lucy adjusting. She was a little out of sorts when I brought Jessie home, but after a week or two she was fine. Jessie, I'm a little more uncertain about. I have a very strong bond with Jessie and I'm concerned he might get jealous. However, he doesn't get jealous right now when I spend time with Lucy, because I always make sure I make time to spend with both of them.
