I have a four year old senegal ,male i think, was thinking of getting a companion for him but ive heard two different things regarding this. One is that they are sociable together living in flocks and second that they will not get on with another bird, can anyone advise me,will he share his cage with another senegal or not. :senegal:

I wouldn't put them in the same cage. Other than that I can't advise much but from what I've read the likelihood is a sennie won't accept another bird easily at all.
If you have the time to give them both enough out time, training and other care and if that is something you could keep up for a lifetime then I don't see why not if you can ensure it wont put too much stress on the original bird.
