im new here but i have hand fed several baby bird from greys to amazons to cocatiels.i have had macaws that have been weaned out and young but never hand fed one myself and decided to hand feed this one.im doing fine with the feeding and the baby is doing great in that regard,but im just trying to figure out if it is normal for them even after being fed to keep crying their baby cry or not even being held and plated with he/she is doing the baby talk dont know what to do if i put him back in his box he does eventaully seatle down and go to sleep but what should i be doing? please anyone help!!!any info will be greatly appreciated! :macaw:

He is seperated from his nest mates. He does not have attention from his parents and no siblings to be with.

Your all of them together in his eyes.

yes i know this i have been giving him all kinds of attention but he still doesnt calm down and just wants more food he gets fed 4 times a day and is eating well his crop is full his poop looks good he just doesnt know what to do but i am doing what i can to give him love an attention i know they need lots of it.

I know. It is very hard to care for an unweaned baby. Even after it is suppose to be weaned it will still beg for feedings.
