Does anyone know much about rabbit behaviour? the one we are looking after is an un-neutered male keeps humping my legs (but leaves my partner alone). Its annoying, whenever I move he comes charging over like an electro magnet.
From what I've managed to research so far I gather that just mounting behaviour is a domineering whilst nipping whilst doing it is a mating behaviour. If this is correct then he is definitely trying to mate me rather than dominate me. Apparantly he never did it to either of his real owners either, just me.....

So far I have tried just removing him and walking off but he gives chase and tries again. So then I tried just removing him and standing still but he still jumps straight back on. I have tried wearing different clothes, wearing my boyfriends jeans, washing my clothes in a different scented detergant, putting various pheremone free but strong smelling lotions on my legs- again to try to smell different but still he wont give up and its just me he does it with. I figured it was the way I smelled or looked that was attracting him to me but apparently not.

I'll try posing on a rabbit forum but thought I would try here first as I know there are a few rabbit keepers on here.

I don't know much about rabits, I've only known my bf's mom's rabbit who slept almost entire day, woke up to eat and poop and went back to sleep... And I've heard my friend's story about her rabbit (male, neutered) stealing a pork chop from her plate that was on a high table
