Chicken and salmon goes down too---she loves them.
Eggs? Yup.
Right now, I'm getting the 'wait---you want me to eat BUGS? Where IS my chicken and wildcaught salmon at?' face

What about those of you who do eat Chicken, Turkey, Duck, Pigeon, Pheasant, Ptarmigan, etc... how do you feel about eating something that tastes a lot like your pet? I'm not trying to be facetious, I really am just curious about how people feel about all this.

Neither chicken, turkey or duck taste alike, so how in the world could a rather small bird like most parrots taste like poultry when poultry have been raised to maximize the production of meat and fat for human consumption?
I love my parrots and I think that parrots make great human companions, but I don't believe that I'm committing some sort of inhumane act by consuming poultry.
