i came across these two adorable videos on You Tube of some Big Birdies taking showers - so cute how they hold out their wings to catch the water spray!!

soooo cute, mine too (alexandrine parakeet) bath like that in basin, and only some times it speaks while bathing when she is more exited. at the most, she just take a full bath of 45 minutes. may i know how much time your pet takes a bath, just for information. :) :swaying:

just wanted to clarify - those are not my birds in the videos. i just found those vids on Youtube.

my own birds - my GCC and my Bourke - do enjoy their showers too, though! they also like to jump into their bath bowls. but as little birds, they flap their wings pretty fast to splash around. i found it interesting and cute that the bigger species birds in the video held their wings out like that for quite a long time.

as far as how long my birds take with their baths - neither spends more than 3 minutes or so splashing around. but my GCC will come running back for another bath in his bowl a few hours later! :) :gcc:
