Some good news!

Edmund has completely finished his first bowl of pellets meaning we finally up to 40%. He's on TOPS with 2 pellet berries crumbled in. The pellet berries were there to get him started on the bowl so eventually they will be gone completely. We've had a real struggle getting him even to 20% and a real step backwards when we went to the 30% but we are getting there.

At least he eats plenty of fresh foods which makes up for his slowness with the pellet conversion.

It was like a switch he suddenly decided he liked them....

I was like Edmund... WHY???? after the months I have tried with you.... WHY NOW!?

So happy though! Noticed a marked change in his plumage, although it's always been very good condition. His droppings did change to be more green with them but that's the colour of the TOPS pellets.

Pellet-Berries I think helped because he associated the pellets as treats. I only bought them to try them out as a healthier treat than honey sticks that are all seeds. He is munching his way through veggies too, loves his greens!

They don't in real life, maybe they used the nutri berries picture because they have no seeds in. Just dried fruit and pellets. They look like Harrison's pellets with fruits and smell like vanilla/flapjack.

I don't use them as main food, just a couple in with the TOPS. They quite good as treats though, slightly better than a load of seeds.

I only use the nutriberries because I was struggling for a suitably sized treat for some of the foraging toys, sunflowers would fall straight out or jam them up, ollie wont touch peanuts and other nuts are too large for him. Its like the space circles toy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V9_ibMwUQqg the treat has to be perfectly round in order for him to get it out but if its too small he cant reach it but I didn't want to give grapes all the time.
