I haven't tried grapes yet. There's an idea. Thanks for mentioning that, paper_lantern. I've never tried pomegranate, either. I wasn't sure it was okay.
Marvin also loves sugar-free cornbread. You can buy an organic, chemical-free mix at many local health-food-type grocers.
If there are high-nutrient foods your bird won't touch, try baking them into something. I swear I do more baking for Marvin han I ever did for myself. When Marvin started eating a wider range of foods, he started to pooh-pooh his hard pellets so I watered them down, mashed them up, added a little cooked rice to keep them from re-hardening completely, and baked bird cookies. I have a ton in the freezer, and every day he gets a few pieces. Now he thinks his pellets are more like a treat than a staple. I try baking new things with nuts, grains, fruits and veggies all of the time now.
