The budgie flight cage we used as a holiday cage for cockatiels. Still looking for a sturdier one but she seems happy and can fly about.

My budgie, Casper, crashed today. I think he almost knocked himself out. He is kind of stunned and just wants to sit cuddled up next to my neck. It's been over an hour and he does seem a little better.
I'm worried that he will die, but I guess it's just wait and see... :budgie: 4

Casper died today. His crash into a corner must have injured his skull. I'll miss him. Sad.

I am so sorry that Casper is gone. You could not do anything to help it. Birds were designed to fly. It is their freedom, entertainment and exercise. Some don't develop enough muscles to pull it off. You did not cause it. You were letting him be what he was suppose to be.

I lost one with a broken neck inside the cage. Keeping him caged would not have saved him.

Oh, geez, I am soooo very sorry for your loss! Poor little Casper! He is flying free with a large flock of other budgies now... happy and free of pain forever.
